Volleyball vs Winnetonka Live Stream

Tuesday September 27, the volleyball match vs. Winnetonka will be streamed live on YouTube. The match should start between 6:30 – 7:00. It’s a fundraiser for Landon Jaros, son of PE teacher Todd Jaros, who is battling leukemia.  

Fall Sports Practices Begin August 1

Volleyball Advances in District Play

The Lady Pirates Volleyball team defeated St. Joseph Central on Monday evening to advance to the semi-finals of the MSHSAA Class 4, District 16 tournament held, held at Park Hill High School. The team will take on Oak Park High School tomorrow night (10/21) at 6:30 pm. The winner will advance to the championship match

2 Lady Pirates Compete in Border All-Star Game

Maren Mair and Teryn Scott were chosen to compete for the Missouri big class team in the MO/KAN All-Star Volleyball match on Sunday, 11/15. Coach Jan Patterson was selected as the assistant coach for the same team. The Missouri team defeated the Kansas team in the match in 3 games.      

Maren Mair Named 2nd Team All-State

Congratulations to Lady Pirate, Maren Mair for being selected to the 2nd Team All-State Team. Maren had an excellent season and helped lead our Lady Pirates to the MSHSAA Quarterfinal game. Our girls only lost 3 matches all season, all to Liberty.  

Sectional Volleyball and Recognitions

Sectional Volleyball Tournament information: The Lady Pirate Volleyball team advanced to the sectional volleyball tournament on Saturday with a win over a tough Oak Park team in the District 16 Championship match held Wednesday night at Oak Park. The Pirates then traveled to Lee’s Summit West and played Blue Springs in the second sectional match

District Champions

The Lady Pirates fought hard beating both Park Hill and Oak Park and earning the title of District Champions. Platte Volleyball team played the Park Hill Trojans first beating them 25-18, 25-16. Maren Mair and Riley Stephens both had 8 kills a piece accompanied by Mickey Trimble and Kenedy Knox with 10 assists each. Teryn

Platte Pirates beat Belton Pirates

Our very own Lady Pirates beat the Belton Pirates in their last home game 25-14, 25-11. A big thanks goes to the 2014 Seniors and volleyball parents- who were announced last night!
